Custom Linux Utilities

The standard management utility that comes with our IPCopper packet capture appliances is a Windows-based menu-driven utility that allows for easy data retrieval for general users through a Q&A session. If you need a management utility for your IPCopper appliance for deployment in a native Linux environment, we can provide custom Linux-based utilities and/or object files, which may be integrated into your Linux-based system.

For a commonly-chosen and simple customization, we provide a utility customized to operate in a particular “flavor” of Linux, which would accept parameters via command-line, either manually inputted or received from a separate customer software program, and provide an easily parseable output via stdout. For example, the utility would receive parameters and then download data or check appliance status as directed.

Many other customization options are available, including custom GUI interfaces. Please contact us for more information.
